The Path That Led Here
Long before Innergize had a name, caring for people was already part of who I was.
During my years as a cosmetologist, conversations naturally became part of the experience. People shared their hopes, struggles, stress, questions, and everything in between. While I was helping people feel beautiful on the outside, I found myself equally drawn to helping them feel seen, heard, and encouraged.
Looking back, I can see that Innergize was already beginning to take shape.
Discovering Coaching
Years later, an unexpected conversation planted a seed.
After meeting with a life coach, my daughter came home and said something I have never forgotten:
“Mom, he does what you do, but he gets paid, and you don’t.”
Her observation stopped me in my tracks. Supporting people, offering encouragement, and helping them see their circumstances from a different perspective had been part of my life for years.
That conversation led me to pursue life coaching and begin developing the tools and frameworks that would eventually become part of Innergize, including the Five Dimensions of Well-Being and the understanding that our perspectives influence our thoughts, emotions, actions, and results.
It was the first formal step toward the work I do today.
A Personal Turning Point
Then life changed.
After facing serious health challenges, I found myself on a journey I never expected to take. For the first time, I wasn’t simply supporting others through their struggles. I was searching for answers of my own.
What followed was more than physical recovery. It became a season of questioning, learning, rebuilding, and developing a deeper understanding of stress, healing, identity, wellness, and the connection between the mind and body.
Along the way, I worked with practitioners, pursued wellness education, attended trainings, and experienced many of the tools and approaches I now share with others.
I came to understand the value of supporting the whole person from the inside out, and I learned something I carry into my work every day:
Hope matters.
How Innergize Took Shape
My personal journey changed both my life and the direction of my work.
What began with life coaching gradually grew into a more integrated approach combining coaching, wellness education, guided awareness, and intentional touch. I began to see more clearly how our stress, emotions, beliefs, relationships, experiences, and physical well-being can influence one another.
Today, I have the privilege of helping others slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore their own path toward greater awareness, balance, and well-being.
Why Innergize?
Innergize grew from something deeply personal: a desire to offer hope.
Not the pressure to fix yourself or have all the answers, but the kind of hope that reminds us we are not defined by our past or present challenges, and that more may be possible than we can currently see.
Through my own journey, I discovered that awareness creates choice, and choice creates change.
